화장실이라는 라운지

학생들에게 화장실은 휴식 시간 입니다. 고등학교의 학생들은 아침부터 늦은 밤까지 교실에서 공부합니다. 하루 종일 학습을 마치고, 기숙사에서 생활하는 학생들도 있습니다.

50분의 학습과 10분의 휴식. 학생들은 화장실을 갈 때에만 온전하게 혼자가 됩니다. 화장실에서는 때때로 은밀한 대화가 오가기도 합니다. 선생님도 상황은 비슷합니다.


잠깐의 휴식을 담은 라운지 같은 분위기의 화장실, 온전한 사생활의 감각을 느낄 수 있는 공간, 화장실은 외부화되어 교실에서 느꼈을 갑갑함에 신선한 휴식의 감각을 부여합니다.

A lounge called a bathroom

For students, the bathroom is a break time. High school students in Korea study in the classroom from morning until late at night. Some students return to their dormitory after finished their studies.

50 minutes of study and 10 minutes of rest. Students are completely alone only when they go to the bathroom. Sometimes, secret conversations take place in the bathroom.

A bathroom with a lounge-like atmosphere for a brief break, a space where you can feel a sense of complete privacy, the bathroom is externalized and gives a refreshing sense of rest to the stuffiness felt in the classroom.
